Voluntary Graduation Test Prep

Sixty-four juniors, over one third of the junior class, gave up three hours of their recent school holiday Friday, March 16, to come to the school voluntarily for additional preparation for the Georgia High School Science Graduation Test to be given the following Monday.  The students spent the entire three hours in intensive review with their science teachers.  We commend these students for going "above and beyond" to prepare for this very important test.

The teachers and students involved in the study session also would like to thank the DHS administration for providing snacks and for making the time available for teachers to work with students on a professional learning day.  With students willing to make sacrifices like this we know we will raise our scores on the science test!  Students, we believe in you!
