Irish Too Much for Cobras!
The Fighting Irish opened strong against the Twiggs County Cobras, scoring on their first drive of the game and never looking back. The Irish scored a TD to take a 6-0 lead against the Cobras just one and a half minutes into the game Friday, Sept. 8, in Jeffersonville.
The Irish scored three more touchdowns in the first half to hold a 26-0 advantage over the Cobras at the half. Two more Irish TDs early in the second half brought the score to 40-0 where it remained for the rest of the game.
Below are some photos of the game, the band, and the cheerleaders. There are fewer photos of the game itself as the low bleachers and poor lighting made it difficult to get good photos. (Maybe the band and cheerleaders will be happier this week!)
