Shamrock Bowl Nears Completion!
The new and improved Shamrock Bowl will be ready for action Friday night, September 1, when the Fighting Irish kick off the 2006 season against our friends from the other side of I-16!
As can be seen from the photos below the interior spaces of the new Irish fieldhouse are two to three weeks from completion; however, the field, ticket offices, restrooms, concession stands, and other parts of the facility necessary for playing in the Bowl are quickly nearing completion. The new scoreboard is in place and installation is just about finished.
The Irish faithful are looking forward to the stadium unveiling Friday night!
