Senior Fees 

Mrs. Goodson will be collecting senior fees March 3^rd – March 31^st.  Senior fees are $60.00.

Guidance Announcements  

Burch Foundation Scholarship Applications are in the Guidance Office.  The deadline is April 21, 2008.  

Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. Scholarship information is available in the Guidance Office.  March 29^th is the deadline. 

Spring Pictures 

Spring pictures and freestyle pictures will be taken March 20^th.  If you will be taking freestyle pictures, please sign up with Mrs. Waters. 

Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention Essay Contest 

The Exchange Club of Dublin is announcing that the Child Abuse Prevention Essay Contest applications are now available.  First place award is $1,000.00

Scholarship 

Laurens-Dublin Retired Educators Association Scholarship applications are in the Guidance Office.  This scholarship is for any senior intending to make education their career.  Deadline is March 10, 2008.

Student Drop Off 

Do not use the front entrance of the school for student drop off.  Students should be dropped off and picked up at the side entrance.  Officer Sanders will issue tickets.

Tip Off Club 

Dublin High School Tip Off Club is sponsoring a pageant on Monday, March 10^th at 5:00 p.m.  The entry fee is $20.00.

FBLA 

FBLA members please see your advisors if you are interested in going to the State Leadership Conference in Athens, GA on March 14^th-16^th.  Competitive Events are Accounting II, Business Procedures, Computer Applications, etc.

Yearbooks 

Yearbooks are on sale for the last time.  Cost is $60.00.

Spring financial aid/grants and scholarship workshop will be presented by Georgia Student Financial Commission on February 21^st at 6:00 p.m. in Dublin High School’s cafeteria. 

Prom 

Prom is scheduled for April 26^th.  Dues are now $90.00. 

GUIDANCE

1. 3/7/2008 – School Newspaper: Any Current Freshmen, Sophomore, or Juniors that are interested in starting a School Newspaper, speak to Mr. Stewart (Guidance Office) at break.

2. 3/10/2008 - MGC Instant Admissions Day: Middle Georgia College will be coming to pickup all transcripts for Instant Admissions Day. All students participating please come by the Guidance Office by 3:00pm Friday 3/7/2008 for participation confirmation.

3.  3/10/2008 - Marines Recruiter Visit in Cafeteria at lunch.

4. 3/12/2008 - FVSU Presidential Cultural Arts Tour: Only seniors that do not have to take High School Graduation Test.

5. 3/13/2008 - MGC Instant Admissions Day. Registration Deadline 3/7/2008.

6. 3/14/2008 – C.A.P. (Child Abuse Prevention) Essay Scholarship Deadline.

7. 3/24/2008 – Citizens Bank of Laurens Co. Student Advisory Council Application Deadline.

8. 3/26/2008 – HGTC Career Choices Seminar. Only seniors that do not have to take High School Graduation Test.

9. 3/28/2008 – Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Scholarship Deadline.

10. 3/28/2008 – Wade Walker Athletic Scholarship Deadline.  Applications by nomination only.
