PARENTS, please do not drop off your children in front of the school after 7:30 a.m. or pick them up in front of the school before 4:00 p.m. This includes the area between the main building and the K-building (bandroom). We appreciate your cooperation.
 
ST. PATRICK'S ART SHOW: Congratulations to our St. Patrick's Art Show winners: Andy Rardin, Jit Patel, Karishma Patel, Miah Stanley, Alexis Carswell, Caitlin Morris, and Bailey Versprille. Everyone is invited to the Art Show which is at the Dublin Mall through April 14.
 
SENIOR FEES of $90.00 are due to Mrs. Goodson by Friday, March 25th.
 
FFA will meet Thursday, 3/24, after announcements in Mr. Hardeman's room.
 
SPANISH CLUB  will meet Thursday, March 24, immediately after school in room 506.
  
CITIZENS BANK OF LAURENS COUNTY is accepting applications for the Student Advisory Council.  Applications can be picked up in the guidance office, and must be returned to your guidance counselor by March 31, 2011.
 
SOCIAL STUDIES remediation will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons from 4:00 until 6:00 in room 401. We will meet until the graduation test for Social Studies is given.
 
DUBLIN ROTARY CLUB will sponsor one rising high school junior or senior from each of the area high schools to attend the Rotay Youth Leadership Awards Program (RYLA) at South Georgia College in Douglas, Ga., from June 23 until June 26, 2011. This is an all expense paid four day event where students learn leadership skills. If you are interested in this program, come by the guidance office for more information.
 
WRITING CONTEST: The Woman's Study Club is sponsoring a creative writing contest for high school students in the Dublin area. If you are interested in submitting an entry, please get an information sheet and a cover sheet from Mrs. Claxton in room 906. Only 10 entries can be submitted from DHS. The deadline is March 24, 2011 at 3:45 p.m.
  
The YOUNG GEORGIA AUTHORS writing competition is open to all high school students.  Entries may be short stories, poetry, essays, journals, personal narratives, reports, or any other original student writing.  See Mrs. Lee in room 213 for more information.  Give your writing to Mrs. Lee or any English teacher by April 4th.
 
PROM is scheduled for April 30th.

  

FCA:  Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meets every Friday in the media center.  Everyone is welcome to come.
 

GRADUATION: Friday, May 20, 2011 @ 7 pm.
