AF-JROTC STUDENTS EARN HONORS

Two Dublin High School Air Force JROTC cadets, Yoletta Cunningham and Grady Cullens, have been selected for the 2007 Aerospace and Technology Honors Camp.

Yoletta and Grady are both in the top 1% of all AFJROTC Cadets; of the approximately 107,000 cadets in AFJRTOC, only 447 are selected to attend Honors Camp.

With this great distinction, Yoletta and Grady are expected to keep their grades up, stay active in JROTC, be respectful and represent AFJROTC in their community, and be good citizens.  Their acceptance letters to Honors Camp state "You have been identified as future leaders; Honors Camp will give you an opportunity to broaden your scope of understanding of the many opportunities in the aerospace industry.  You have also been identified as being academically gifted.  Honors Camp will introduce you to the collegiate world of science, engineering, and technology.  You will have the opportunity to see both civilian and military career opportunities within these academic fields."  Yoletta will attend Honors Camp July 8-13 and Grady will attend June 10-15.  These camps will be held at the University of Oklahoma.

This is a tremendous honor for Yoletta and Grady, Dublin High School's JROTC, and our community.  Congratulations, cadets, we're proud you!
